Form 10-Q

Description

Form 10-Q means a quarterly report that U.S. public companies file with the SEC. In simple terms, a 10-Q is a company’s official financial report for one quarter. Form 10-Q is important because it gives investors updated financial information between annual reports. It usually includes financial statements, management discussion, and updates on business conditions. For example, investors may read a company’s 10-Q to understand whether revenue, profit, debt, or cash flow changed during the quarter. Form 10-Q is not as broad as Form 10-K. It covers a shorter period and is usually less detailed than the annual filing.
