Form 10-K

Description

Form 10-K means a detailed annual report that U.S. public companies file with the SEC. In simple terms, a 10-K is a company’s official yearly financial and business report. Form 10-K is important because it includes detailed financial statements, risk factors, business descriptions, management discussion, and other required information. Investors use it to analyze a company’s full-year performance. For example, a company’s 10-K may explain its revenue sources, major risks, debt, competition, and future challenges. Form 10-K is not the same as a simple annual report summary. It is a formal filing with detailed regulatory requirements.
