Energy Stocks
Description
Energy stocks mean stocks of companies involved in oil, gas, energy production, or related services.
In simple terms, energy stocks are shares of companies connected to producing or selling energy.
Energy stocks are important because they often move with oil and natural gas prices. When energy prices rise, many energy companies may earn more money. When energy prices fall, their profits may come under pressure.
For example, oil producers, gas companies, and energy equipment providers can be considered energy stocks.
Energy stocks are not the same as oil prices. Oil prices can strongly influence them, but company costs, production levels, debt, and strategy also matter.
