Retirement Account

Description

A retirement account is an account used to save and invest money for retirement. In simple terms, a retirement account helps people prepare financially for life after they stop working. Retirement accounts are important because they can help money grow over time and may offer tax advantages depending on the country and account type. People often use them to build long-term savings for future living expenses. For example, in the United States, accounts like a 401(k) or IRA are common types of retirement accounts. A retirement account is not the same as a regular savings account. It is usually designed for long-term retirement planning and may have rules about contributions, withdrawals, and taxes.
