Forward-Looking Statement

Description

Forward-looking statement means a company statement about expectations, plans, or forecasts for the future. In simple terms, it is something management says about what may happen later. Forward-looking statements are important because investors use them to understand management’s outlook. These statements can include views on revenue, demand, strategy, risks, margins, or future investments. For example, if a company says it expects demand to improve next year, that is a forward-looking statement. A forward-looking statement is not a fact. It is based on assumptions and may turn out to be wrong.
