Conference Call

Description

Conference call means a scheduled phone or online meeting where company leaders speak with investors, analysts, or other participants. In simple terms, it is a group call used to share information and answer questions. Conference calls are important because companies use them to explain earnings, major announcements, strategy changes, or business updates. Investors often listen for tone, details, and answers to analyst questions. For example, after releasing earnings, a company may hold a conference call to discuss results and guidance. A conference call is not always an earnings call. It can also be used for mergers, investor days, product announcements, or other corporate events.
