Annual Report

Description

Annual report means a company’s yearly report that summarizes its business and financial performance. In simple terms, an annual report shows how a company performed over a full year. Annual reports are important because they give investors a broad view of a company’s revenue, profit, risks, strategy, leadership, and financial condition. They are often more detailed than quarterly updates. For example, an annual report may include financial statements, management discussion, risk factors, and business segment information. An annual report is not the same as a short earnings press release. It is usually longer, more detailed, and more formal.
