Economic Data Release
Description
Economic data release means the publication of official or important economic numbers.
In simple terms, it is when new economic data becomes available to the public.
Economic data releases are important because they can change expectations about growth, inflation, jobs, and interest rates. Investors watch release dates carefully because markets can move quickly when important data comes out.
For example, when the government releases a monthly jobs report, investors may react to the number of jobs created and wage growth.
An economic data release is not always market-moving. It usually matters most when the data is important, unexpected, or connected to current investor concerns.
