Cost of Living
Description
Cost of living means the amount of money people need to pay for basic everyday expenses.
In simple terms, it shows how expensive it is to live in a certain place.
Cost of living is important because it affects how much money people need for housing, food, transportation, healthcare, taxes, and other daily needs. When the cost of living rises, people may feel financial pressure even if their income stays the same.
For example, living in a large city may require more money than living in a small town because rent, food, and transportation can be more expensive.
Cost of living is not the same everywhere. Two people can earn the same income, but their quality of life may be very different depending on where they live.
